    Energy-saving and cost-reducing for urban households through grid connection

    Background: A villa owner in India has an average monthly electricity consumption of 1500 kWh for the entire family. The air conditioning load is high during the summer, resulting in significant electricity bills. 

    Solution: Install grid-connected ODM/OEM system: 10kW photovoltaic power generation + 15kWh energy storage battery + hybrid inverter. During the day, the photovoltaic power generation is mainly used for self-consumption, and the excess power is fed back to the grid; at night, during off-peak hours, it charges from the grid, and during peak hours, it discharges to supply power for household use. EMS intelligent control of charging and discharging strategies. 

    Effectiveness: The proportion of self-generated photovoltaic power reached 70%. Combined with peak-valley arbitrage, the monthly electricity bill decreased from approximately 1,200 yuan to less than 300 yuan, with an annual savings of over 10,000 yuan. The system has the capability of operating in an isolated island mode during power outages.
